Our Trip To Las Vegas May 21-26, 2008

We went to Las Vegas this year for Memorial Day weekend instead of our annual family camping trip. My Mom and Dad got 5 condos through their condo thing, So my Dad's whole family went. There was a total of 41 people that went. We had so much fun! There were some bumps in the road such as Katie fell off a barstool on to her head and got a concussion, We dragged our kids down the strip from M&M world to Caesars Palace, {I literally mean dragged they were crying the whole way.} and we promised the kids that we would go swimming but the whole time we were there expect the last day it was only in the 60's. So the Sunday before we left the temp. cracked 70 and we went swimming! But we all that a side we had a ton of fun! We played the wii with a ton of people, (our first time trying out my Aunt Jolene's wii fit.) went swimming, we went and saw the mermaids "Ariel" that was awesome to see how excited Kortney got {magical for the little girls}, We went to M&M world, and we relaxed. A funny thing that happened one of the mornings we went to a buffet so we had to walk through a casino with the kids and Karlee wanted to know what all the different machines and tables were so Sam told her that it was called gambling and that the church has said that it's not a good idea to gamble. She want to know if Sam or I had ever gamble and he told her yes and she wanted to know why and where and if we would ever do it again? Sam said that we had and yes that we would probably do it again. She was so mad and said that if it is wrong then why are you doing it? Sam said it okay Karlee you are right it is wrong. It is so black or white right or wrong to her and that makes me happy. She is such a good girl and tries so hard to do what is right. It was nice to get a way and we had a really fun vacation!
